Square Hardware Options

A variety of Square branded hardware and accessories are available for SuitePOS.

Square Stand (2nd Generation)

This stand is ergonomically pleasing and has a built in payment device and optional swipe reader. We recommend that you also get the Square Reader as an add-on for a better and handsfree shopper experience. The reader should be connected via the Square USB hub, not Bluetooth. 

Compatible with 10.2" iPads (2021, 2020, 2019), iPad Air (2019), and iPad Pro 10.5."

Square Stand (1st Generation)

This is the original Square stand and is compatible with the 10.2" iPad. A Square Reader is included and should ideally be connected via the Square USB hub and not Bluetooth. 

Square Terminal

For EMV chip, swipe, manual and contactless payment processing. Connects to your wifi network and clearly presents pricing to the shopping.

Square Reader

For EMV chip and contactless payment processing. Comes with an optional charging doc and can be paired with any iPad or iPhone.

Square Reader for magstripe

There are two versions of Square Reader for magstripe —one for a headset jack, the other a Lightning connector.
