NetSuite Platform Performance Management Tool. Slow SuitePOS Scripts.
If you are experiencing slow performance in NetSuite, there is a performance management tool that can be installed in your Netsuite account that can assist with the performance troubleshooting of scripts.
We recommend that you install this SuiteApp if you are experiencing problems with any POS or NetSuite scripts since it can help identifying the source of the issue.
The Application Performance Management SuiteApp compiles information into a performance dashboard useful for performance troubleshooting. You can use this SuiteApp to monitor and manage NetSuite performance for business critical operations.
Installing the Application Performance Management SuiteApp
Application Performance Management is available as a SuiteApp which can be installed in your account. Its bundle ID is 67350.
- Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.
- In the Keywords box, enter the bundle ID or name. The bundle ID is 67350. The bundle name is Application Performance Management.
- Click Search.
- On the Bundle Details page, in the Name column, click the bundle link.
On the Bundle Details page, click the Install button.
- Application Performance Management is a managed bundle. After you install it, future updates are automatically pushed to your account.
- To proceed to the install, click OK in the popup that displays to obtain your consent for these future updates.
- On the Preview Bundle Install Page, click the Install Bundle button.
- On the Installed Bundles screen, click Refresh to verify the installation is complete.
- Once the installation is complete, log out and then log back in.
Once this SuiteApp has been installed, Application Performance Management is available at Customization > Performance, to account administrators only.
This is a NetSuite product and must be used by qualified NetSuite Administrators. Any issues with this bundle must be reported directly to NetSuite Support.
Additionally, you can change the deployment of two SuitePOS Scripts (SPOS Sale and SPOS Return) to "Debug" and timings will be displayed as they are executed. This can help isolate the issue.
