Tutorial: Enable SuiteTax Override
NetSuite are mandating SuiteTax be used on all new accounts and will be migrating existing accounts over the course of time. In order to support this we now have an option to enable SuiteTax Override to support customers that are using the current legacy tax models and avoid latency of having to call SuiteTax directly from the POS.
This is primarily used for higher volume retailers that are on (or migrating to) SuiteTax. Note: Sales Order process of calling the NetSuite Tax Engine (regardless of SuiteTax) will still be enforced.
You cannot have the SuiteTax Module Enabled and Use SuiteTax Override. You must pick one or the other.

STEP 3: Migrate Customer Taxation (Default is SuiteTax Override Taxable)

You can automate setting of these flags based on any criteria you want either via scripting or workflows. This may better assure data integrity.
