It may be necessary to access certain lists of items that are a specific subset of the entire item set in SuitePOS. This could be a list of items affiliated with a named bridal or gift registry, or a supplemental seasonal catalog hosted as a web resource or document outside of SuitePOS. 

Another requirement might be to access an inventory management tool, to complement certain retail use cases such as inventory transfers of hazardous or exclusive warehoused items being tried out in a store, or if performing a bin putaway of items.

One way to use external web resources or apps with SuitePOS is to create a Safari or App shortcut and add it to the iPad App Dock. The shortcut can then be used from the Dock for Split View access and ring-up or complimentary use at the POS.
